First Meeting of EPERN, Virtual Seminars, and Public Choice Meetings

The first meeting of the Entangled Political Economy Research Network took place on August 18th and brought together 24 scholars. Participants shared their short introductions, including the reasons for joining the network and details of their EPE-related projects, discussed plans for 2020-2021 academic year, with the particular focus on the plans for the virtual seminars and the presence at the Public Choice Meetings.

Regular seminars are intended to be a flagship activity for EPERN. They will provide a way in which scholars, both established or up-and-coming, can present their work in a collegial environment with friends. The seminars also provide, in their own right, a focal point for our mutual engagement and networking for people interested in entangled political economy research. The complete schedule of 2020-2021 virtual seminars can be found here.

As for the 2021 Public Choice Society Meeings (taking place March 11-13, Savannah, Georgia) members interested in participating in an EPERN session are encouraged to submit their abstracts as soon as possible and no later than October 15th. To participate in an EPERN session, email us by October 15th. For topics related to complexity, please contact Abigail Devereaux and for all other topics reach out to Marta Podemska-Mikluch.

All EPERN members are encouraged to sign up for the Public Choice Society website. This way you will get PCS calls for papers and other announcements. A sign up form can be found here: https://publicchoicesociety.org/members.
