Summer Reading Group

Thanks to the generous support of Mercatus Center at George Mason University, we'll host a four-session reading group this summer to discuss the key texts of entangled political economy. This will be an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in gaining a strong understanding of the origins of entangled political economy, its key elements, and its relationship to other streams of economic thought.

The curriculum for the reading group, designed by Mikayla Novak, focuses on four areas:

  1. Foundations of entangled political economy theory

  2. Fiscal policies

  3. Regulatory policies

  4. Social services and welfare provision

The reading group will be limited to ten, eight open spots, plus Mikayla Novak and Marta Podemska-Mikluch will join all calls.

Participants who successfully complete all four sessions will receive modest stipends. The group meet virtually, with the first meeting scheduled for July 5th, 2021.

If you're interested in participating in the reading group, please send an email to Marta Podemska-Mikluch: mpodemsk@gustavus.edu
